Senior Capstone Project

This campaign aims to promote the release of AI For Design, a new application entering the interior design space.

AI For Design uses innovative AI technology to scan users’ spaces and provide personalized design feedback based on their unique preferences, allowing users at all stages of the design process to become their own interior designer. 

This campaign was completed collaboratively for Senior Capstone.

Key Issue.

An application such as AI for design is reliant on the housing market and consumer need for home renovation and design. Within a fluctuating housing climate, it is imperative that AI for Design displays awareness of the current market by catering to homeowner needs. It is also important that AI For Design work to reframe existing barriers to home design by marketing a range of alternatives for each stage of the design process.

Audience Profile.

Meet Megan.

Megan Gallagher is a 35-year-old woman living in the suburbs of Philadelphia. Megan currently lives in the starter home that her and her partner bought after the birth of their first child. Megan now has three young children and would ideally like to move into a new home, as she feels like her expanding family has outgrown their current space. However, considering the current state of the housing market and the existing barriers to moving, she cannot currently afford to move into a bigger home. In an effort to revitalize her current space to both create a fresher living space for the present and to prepare for sale in the future, Megan is looking to invest in smaller, budget-friendly renovation projects to make her home feel like new again.

In order to reach this audience, it is vital that AI For Design advertise its design expertise to current homeowners. AI For Design’s personalized design advice is not just a useful tool for those who are moving into new homes or apartments – this application meets consumers at any stage of their home renovation process. AI For Design can allow users like Megan to bring new life to their homes and ensure that their spaces are move-in ready once they are in a position to approach their next chapter of homeownership.
